At Forth Valley Welcome, we help New Scots—refugees and people seeking asylum—build new lives with confidence, dignity, and a sense of belonging.

We provide practical support like essential household items, clothing, and toys so families can feel at home from day one. Our trained Home Visitors offer one-to-one guidance with everyday challenges, while our English language support helps people find their voice in their new community.

Through community events, employability support, and advocacy, we connect people, create opportunities, and amplify the issues that matter most to those we support.

Together, we’re building stronger, more inclusive communities across Stirling and Clackmannanshire.

"I’m not a Home Visitor, I am much more than that. You can’t be with somebody for five years, and not be their friend. It is one of the best things I’ve ever done… life enhancing.

I feel I’m contributing toward making life better for very vulnerable people in my community. I am learning a lot about another people and their culture.

I have really enjoyed the involvement with the Syrian families and will particularly miss the family I support - they are lovely people. I have formed a very close friendship with them and hope to keep in contact. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to help - it has been very fulfilling and humbling.

Central Scotland Regional Equality Council (CSREC) advice sessions

CSREC holds advice sessions in Stirling, Clackmannanshire and Falkirk. Please contact them for an appointment if you need help with issues such as immigration, benefits, housing, discrimination or hate crime.

Ukraine Advice Scotland

Ukraine Advice Scotland will be offering free, confidential legal advice to Ukrainians and their family members who are seeking safety in Scotland. Those who need help can contact qualified legal advisors by e-mail: ukraine@justrightscotland.org.uk or call the free legal helpline at 0800 995 6045.
